PSG revealed the list of 19 players selected for the trip to Newcastle on Wednesday (7 p.m.) in the Champions League (the program for the 2nd day and the classification of Group F here). A group without much surprise, with the notable return of Keylor Navas, absent in Clermont (0-0) last Saturday. A return which pushes Alexandre Letellier out of the group, Luis Enrique already having Gigio Donnarumma and Arnau Tenas in goal, in addition to the Costa Rican.
For the rest, the absences of Presnel Kimpembe, Nuno Mendes (who visited the training center this Monday after his operation last Friday in Finland), Marco Asensio (injured) and Kang-in Lee (selection) will surprise no one. All this knowing that the young (19 year old) Cher Ndour, the returning Layvin Kurzawa and the banned Hugo Ekitike are not on the list of 24 players to compete in Europe. No worries for Kylian Mbappé, uncertain before Clermont after a blow against OM but who played the entire game. PSG started their C1 campaign with a 2-0 victory over Dortmund, while Newcastle brought home a point from Milan (0-0).
