Valenciennes, last in Ligue 2, will travel to Lyon on Tuesday April 2 and the winner of the Paris-Nice quarter-final will host Rennes the next day, during the semi-finals of the Coupe de France, the French Football Federation announced on Tuesday.

The last quarter-final between Paris SG, leader of Ligue 1, and Nice, now 5th in the championship, must be played on March 13 “due to the European calendar of the capital club” which is playing its round of 16 second leg on Tuesday. Champions League against Real Sociedad (PSG 2-0 victory, in the first leg in Paris).

The final of the competition, scheduled for Saturday May 25, will not be able to be held at the Stade de France, due to work for the Olympic Games. It could take place at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium in Lille, a candidate for its organization and well placed to be retained by the Federation due to the elimination of Lille in the round of 16. The FFF will designate the stadium chosen after the quarter-final between Paris SG and Nice on March 13.
