Benoît Cosnefroy and Nans Peters have extended for two additional seasons with AG2R-Citröen, the Savoyard team announced on the sidelines of the second day of rest of the Tour de France on Monday in Saint-Gervais. “The ambitious project presented by Vincent Lavenu and the coaching for the next seasons have convinced me to continue the adventure”, commented Cosnefroy who considers entering, at 27, “in the best years of (s) his career “.
Winner of the Bretagne Classic in 2021 and the Grand Prix de Québec in 2022, the Norman puncher, who joined the team in 2017, has extended until 2025. The same goes for Peters, 29, who has spent his entire professional career within the Savoyard formation, notably winning a stage on the Tour de France in 2020.
