The Norwegian Soren Waerenskjold (Uno-X) scored a double blow on the Al-Ula Tour, in the northwest of Saudi Arabia, by winning the second stage on Wednesday to take the lead in the general classification. The 23-year-old Norwegian beat Eritrean Mulubrhan, Dutchman Nils Eekhoff and Frenchman Bryan Coquard in a mass sprint.
The fourth edition of the Al-Ula Tour, formerly Saudi Tour, takes place until Saturday in this region as large as Belgium which hosts archaeological sites classified as UNESCO world heritage sites, such as Hegra, the “Saudi Petra”. .
