This Thursday, the staff of the French team announced that Léa Curinier was called to replace Marie Le Net, who tested positive for Covid-19, in the French women’s cycling team for the road Worlds road race this Sunday in Glasgow. The 22-year-old Drôme, who runs for the DSM team all year round alongside Juliette Labous, will arrive in Scotland on Friday.
No other runner from Les Bleues tested positive for Covid-19, while Marie Le Net took part in the Track Worlds which ended on Wednesday evening at the Chris Hoy velodrome. She notably won a bronze medal in the team pursuit last Saturday.
