That’s it, here we are. The endurance season was launched this Saturday March 2 on the Losail circuit with the start of the 1812 km of Qatar, but it seems that it did not start in the same way for everyone, and an incident is occurred on the track during the first hours of the race. This unforeseen event manifested itself on one of the Ferraris, which saw its rear wing completely detach in the middle of the race.

This season, no less than 14 manufacturers are lining up at the start of the eight rounds of the competition (including the first, this weekend, in Qatar). Of these 14 manufacturers, nine are among the – queen – Hypercar category which only brings together prototypes: these are respectively Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, Alpine, Peugeot, Toyota, Porsche, Cadillac and Isotta Fraschini. The five other manufacturers race in the GT category – for Grand Touring –, sports cars originally specially reconfigured for endurance racing.
