France, upset by their defeat against Romania (3-1) the day before, dominated Greece 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-17) to finish in first place in their group of the Euro-2023 men’s volleyball, Tuesday. The Blues will face in the round of 16 on Saturday in Varna (Bulgaria) the 4th in group B, currently Spain which could however give up this place to Bulgaria after the last matches of this group.
The 2021 Olympic champions finished their group stage with a record of four victories and one defeat. They were also partially reassured after their clear setback against the Romanians on Monday, by regaining their efficiency in serving and receiving.
