Bayern Munich striker and German international Serge Gnabry, injured in his hamstring, is out for the end of the club season and could miss Euro-2024 organized at home, Bayern announced on Friday.
Gnabry left the field after 27 minutes of play in Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final loss 2-1 to Real Madrid.
The 28-year-old suffers from a torn left hamstring and “will miss the rest of the season” at club level, Bayern said in a statement, with two league matches remaining. The Bavarians are currently second behind already crowned champion Leverkusen, and are two points ahead of third-placed Stuttgart.
Germany will begin the Euro against Scotland in Munich on June 14. Gnabry (45 caps, 22 goals) has suffered a series of injuries this season, which have kept him out of the national team managed by Julian Nagelsmann
