The coach of the France U23 team, Sylvain Ripoll, unveiled on Wednesday the list of 23 players who will participate in the next European championship, in Romania and Georgia (June 21-July 8). OGC Nice midfielder Khéphren Thuram, who was with Didier Deschamps’ A last March, is back with Les Bleuets. At his side will notably appear Manu Koné (Mönchengladbach), who is also knocking on the door of the Blues, and the Lorientais Enzo Le Fée.

Several players playing abroad are on the list, such as AC Milan defender Pierre Kalulu, midfielder Michael Olise and striker Amine Adli. Chelsea defender Benoît Badiashile has suffered a hamstring injury and is out. In front, the Rennais Arnaud Kalimuendo and Amine Gouiri are present, like the duo of Lyonnais Rayan Cherki and Bradley Barcola, authors of a cannon end of the season in Ligue 1.

Les Bleuets will play a friendly match on Friday June 16 (6:30 p.m.) against Mexico, at the Stade des Alpes in Grenoble. They will face Italy, Switzerland and Norway in the first round of the Euro, a competition they have not won since 1988 and the generation of Blanc, Roche, Sauzée and Cantona.
