Tension was at its peak Thursday evening between Villarreal and Olympique de Marseille. However, starting with a 3-goal lead, the Phocaeans managed to put themselves in an uncomfortable situation by conceding two goals before the hour mark (3-1, final score). Even though they finally qualified (5-3 over the two matches), the tension did not subside after the final whistle.

The former OM coach, Marcelino, now on the Villarreal bench, went to greet his former players on the pitch to congratulate them. But when meeting Amine Harit, the 58-year-old Spaniard only greeted the latter.

According to the images, the latter refused to shake hands with his former attacker. He then pushed him before exchanging words with him. The Moroccan international did not appreciate this altercation and was also angry after this exchange.
