Maurice Steijn (coach of Ajax Amsterdam, held to a 3-3 draw by OM): “I am very proud of our team. We had a very tough week and the team gave everything today against a very good team. We had a lot of chances, them too of course. It could have been 6-6. This match opens up a lot of good prospects for the future. The result is correct. It’s a shame though, because we led 2-0 and we could have scored the 4-2 goal. Our goalkeeper also made a lot of saves. I don’t want to talk about a crisis, I saw a great match in a full stadium. I believe that OM showed this evening that they are a very good team. They played differently and with new players. This is normal with a new coach.
