Bonmati (FC Barcelona) and Carmona (Real Madrid), captain and scorer in the final against England (1-0), and Kerr (Chelsea), semi-finalist with the host country, have been designated, one of the three era crowned best UEFA player. After a vote carried out by the coaches of the clubs competing last season in the group stages of the Champions League, by the coaches of the 55 countries affiliated to UEFA as well as by a panel of European journalists, the three names emerged.
The winner will be revealed on August 31 in Monaco on the sidelines of the draw for the group stage of the men’s Champions League.
Among the coaches, the three finalists are Jonatan Giraldez, who won the Women’s C1 with FC Barcelona, Jorge Vilda, winner of the World Cup with Spain, and Sarina Wiegman, England coach, World Cup finalist.
