In Saudi Arabia, Saudi Pro League players are, to put it mildly, well off. At the Al-Hilal club, the players use a Boeing 747-400 for their trips outside. Odion Ighalo, the club’s Nigerian goalscorer, recently posted a video of about a minute that shows some parts of the plane.
Inside this plane, which initially accommodates 400 passengers, lounges, dining rooms and other private lounges follow one another. Gear value? 200 million euros, according to estimates. The plane is owned by Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. Billionaire and supporter of Al-Hilal, he sold the Boeing 747-400 to the club. He bought himself an A380, to replace it.
Saudi club recruits Kalidou Koulibaly (ex Chelsea) and Ruben Neves (ex Wolverhampton) will soon discover this flying luxury hotel.
