J-359. Less than a year from the opening of the football tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games – it will start on Wednesday July 24 – the France Espoir team no longer has a coach. Sylvain Ripoll has been dismissed from his post by the French Football Federation.
According to information published by Ouest-France and Mohamed Toubache-Ter, which we are able to confirm, Sylvain Ripoll is no longer the coach of Bleuets. The Federation informed the former coach of Lorient (2014-2016) and the formalization should be imminent.
Arrived in May 2017, Sylvain Ripoll pays for the poor results of recent months (last years?). The coach of Bleuets remains in particular on a failure during the last Euro Espoir. France had been beaten by Ukraine in the quarter-finals.
