Refereeing in football is constantly reinventing itself. According to DirecTVSports, FIFA is considering adopting a new offside rule. To be offside, the attacker’s entire body would have to be offside. A player whose body part is covered would therefore not be in an offside position.
Sweden, the Netherlands and Italy should adopt this rule in the form of a test during several matches to evaluate it.
Often decried for offsides of a few millimeters, the new rules of illegal positions in football are not unanimous. This should also be debated.
