Charles Leclerc (MON/Ferrari), 3rd, speaking to Canal: “At the start, we knew it was going to be complicated to keep this first position. When we arrived at the first corner we were three abreast and it didn’t go through. We braked at the same time and ‘Checo’ (Pérez) certainly did not see that Max (Verstappen) was inside and there was contact. After that, the race was rather positive knowing that we had a lot of damage to the front of the car. It’s a shame that this happened with Checo at his home Grand Prix. We had less performance on hard tyres, it often happens that we lack consistency on one type of rubber, this is one of the problems with our car, it is very sensitive.
