Frenchwoman Tess Ledeux, Olympic vice-champion in the discipline, won the big air ski competition at the X Games for the third time on Saturday in Aspen (Colorado, United States).

Ledeux won ahead of the Russian Anastasia Tatalina and the American Rell Harwood, for a 4th victory at the X Games, the benchmark competition for freestyle skiing and snowboarding, after big air in 2020 and 2022 and slopestyle in 2022. At 22 years, Ledeux was Olympic vice-champion in big air skiing in Beijing in 2022 and has three world titles.

Star of the last Olympics (three medals including two titles in halfpipe and big air), the Chinese Eileen Gu, who grew up and lives in the United States, dominated the halfpipe ski competition, her 3rd victory at the X Games (two in halfpipe , one in slopestyle). Norwegian Birk Ruud dominated the men’s ski slopestyle competition.
