The coach of the French women’s team, Hervé Renard, will reveal on Friday the list of players selected for the Nations League matches against Portugal and Austria at the end of September, the French Football Federation (FFF) announced on Tuesday. The Blues will play their first two matches of the season against the Portuguese, on September 22 in Valenciennes (9:10 p.m.) then on the 26th against the Austrians in Vienna (6:30 p.m.) for the first edition of the Women’s Nations League.

The Blues have not met since the Women’s Football World Cup: the end of the dream for the Blues, eliminated by Australia on penalties (0-0, 7-6 on penalties). The French are in group A2 with Norway in addition to Portugal and Austria. The 2023-24 season of the French championship begins this weekend. On Sunday, Lyon dominated Paris Saint-Germain (2-0) at the Stade de l’Aube, in Troyes, to win the Trophée des Championnes.
