Bahemia’s Devynne Charlton broke her own world record in the 60 meters hurdles on Sunday by winning the world indoor championships in Glasgow while French title holder Cyréna Samba-Mayela took second place.
Leading from start to finish, Charlton lowered by two hundredths her world record which she had held for two weeks by crossing the line in 7 sec 65. Just behind, Cyréna Samba-Mayela (7 sec 74) finished second and offered to France its second medal in Scotland.
