Carried by an inspired Vinicius, Real Madrid won (4-2) on the Osasuna pitch on Saturday during the 29th day of Liga and temporarily widened the gap with its competitors in the title race.

Still solid leader of the championship, Real (72 points) pushes Girona (2nd) and FC Barcelona (3rd) ten and eleven lengths back, before their matches against Getafe (6:30 p.m.) and Atlético Madrid on Sunday (9 p.m.).

The Merengues opened the scoring in the 4th minute thanks to Vinicius before being surprised a few minutes later by Budimir on a corner poorly negotiated by their defense (7th, 1-1).

The indestructible Dani Carvajal restored the advantage to Real (18th, 2-1), who ended up widening the gap in the second half thanks to Brahim Diaz (61st, 3-1) and Vinicius’ double (64th, 4-1). Iker Munoz reduced it in added time (90th 1, 4-2), in vain.
