Striker Marco Asensio, injured since the beginning of September, is back in the Paris SG group, which faces Monaco on Friday (9:00 p.m.) for the 13th day of Ligue 1, the club announced.

The 27-year-old Spaniard injured his foot with his selection on September 8. Recruited this summer after the end of his contract with Real Madrid, he had a good start to the season with two goals and an assist in three matches.

Luis Enrique, who had aligned him as a false number 9 between Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé, did not rule out the possibility of starting him.

“As soon as you come back to the group, you can start playing, they are both available,” he said on Thursday about Asensio and the Portuguese Danilo Pereira, also back in the group after a groin injury in early November.

Injured in the selection, Marquinhos and Zaire-Emery are, however, the main absentees from the Parisian group.
