Olivier Pantaloni (coach of Ajaccio, after the 3-0 defeat at Lille): “In the first half, we existed very little on the offensive level, with a poverty in the game and on the technical level which prevented from causing the slightest concern to this Lille team. Defensively, I think we had started well and we were well in place, they couldn’t find a solution, it came on a long shot and, behind that, there are two defensive errors which are tactically avoidable, where you have to be much fairer.
At half-time, we tried to appease the spirits, not to mentally crush the players too much to try to limit the breakage, and I think that was the case. For me, the Lille team is one of the most beautiful, even the most beautiful to see play in this championship.
