The Swiss international striker of Monaco Breel Embolo was operated on Friday in Lyon for a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee, we learned from medical sources.
The operation was performed by Doctor Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet at the Jean-Mermoz Private Hospital in Lyon. The 26-year-old will be out for eight months.
