Lille goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier is expected to undergo knee surgery later this week. The goalkeeper was injured on an aerial exit at the end of Lille’s trip to Nantes this Sunday (1-2). He suffers from a meniscus problem which requires surgery.

It could be a hard blow for Thierry Henry’s Bleuets ahead of the Olympic Games (July 24-August 9). The period of unavailability of Lucas Chevalier is estimated at at least 6 weeks. The goalkeeper also had to be the captain of the team for the competition.
