Back home, at least temporarily, for Edouard Michut. The 20-year-old defensive midfielder was on loan at English second division club Sunderland this season. After 28 matches including 15 starts, the player trained at Paris Saint-Germain will return to the capital, as announced by Sunderland.
The English club, 6th in the Championship, did not exercise its purchase option of 2.5 million euros. Michut, French international U19, has 8 appearances with PSG. His contract runs until June 2025. It seems unlikely that the Parisian club is counting on him for next season.
