Ligue 1: Lyon with a three-way defense, Cherki on the bench to face Metz

To face Metz this Sunday at 1 p.m. at Groupama Stadium, Lyon coach Fabio Grosso recalled Rayan Cherki, left out of the Lyon group for the trip to Marseille last week. A meeting ultimately postponed to December 6 due to the stoning of the OL bus and the injury to Grosso’s face.

Another highlight of the Rhone composition, the Italian coach established a three-way defense with Diomandé, O’Brien and Clinton Mata. The backs will be replaced in the defensive phases by Kumbedi and Tagliafico, who will also project themselves forward in the Lyon offensives.

Also note the absence of Corentin Tolissso this Sunday, suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards.
