Despite its great victory against Marseille on Sunday (1-0), Stade Brestois will be in more difficulty this weekend. During an action with Leonardo Balerdi, Steve Mounié lost his cool and elbowed him. The Beninese striker immediately received a red card, leaving his teammates at 10 for the rest of the match. But for this gesture, the attacker had to wait a little longer before knowing the sanction that would be inflicted on him.

Wednesday evening, the LFP disciplinary committee delivered its verdict and suspended Brestois for two matches, plus one suspended match. The Bretons will therefore have to do without their striker (3 goals in L1 this year) for the trip to Strasbourg (02/24, 9 p.m.) as well as the reception at Le Havre (03/03, 3 p.m.).

Maximiliano Caufriez (Clermont) and Dilane Bakwa (Strasbourg) received only one match following their red card on Sunday as well.
