The president of Losc Olivier Létang sent a letter to the prefect of Bouches-du-Rhône to have “the certainty that the physical integrity of the Lille delegation and its supporters is completely assured” during his club’s trip to Marseille on Saturday (9:00 p.m.), after the OM-OL incidents.
Olivier Létang sent a letter to Frédérique Camilleri with a copy to the Minister of Sports Amélie Oudéa-Castera, the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin, the president of Olympique de Marseille Pablo Longoria and the president of the Professional Football League ( LFP) Vincent Labrune, Losc told AFP on Thursday, confirming information from L’Équipe and La Voix du Nord.
“I want to be certain that the physical integrity of our delegation and our supporters is completely assured,” he explains. I am therefore waiting for the measures that will be taken and the assurance of the protection of our delegation and our supporters before confirming our trip.

Sunday evening, ahead of the match between Lyon and Marseille in the Marseille city, the bus transporting the OL players and staff was stoned and the coach of the Rhone club Fabio Grosso was seriously injured in the face. At least one bus of Lyon supporters was also targeted.
In the stands, other incidents broke out in the Lyon parking lot. The match was ultimately canceled. An LFP meeting is being held on Thursday to decide on the date of postponing the meeting.
“It is inconceivable that a person who comes to watch a match could be injured!” protests Olivier Létang. A fortiori the players in the match!!!”
