If the end of the club season officially ends this Saturday with the Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan, this is not the case for the national teams which are still on deck for a few days. The French team has been preparing since Friday in Clairefontaine for the two matches against Gibraltar and Greece (June 16-19) scheduled as part of the qualifications for Euro 2024 (June 14-July 14). As a reminder, the vice-world champions are first in their group after their victory against the Netherlands (4-0) and Ireland (0-1) last March.

After their coach Didier Deschamps on Friday, it’s the turn of two players to answer questions from the press at the castle this Saturday, from 4 p.m.: Wesley Fofana and Christopher Nkunku. The defender and the attacking midfielder who will evolve next season together at Chelsea, since the formalization of the arrival of Nkunku, from Leipzig, should be effective in July. The latter who returns to Clairefontaine after seeing the last World Cup 2022 pass under his nose due to an injury.
