French defender Aïssatou Tounkara has left Manchester United to join PSG, the capital club announced in a statement on Monday.

Back in her hometown, the French international – 40 caps, 3 goals -, who played in the World Cup with Les Bleues, signed up with the Parisian club until 2025.

After eight years spent in the colors of FCF Juvisy Essonne (now Paris FC), with which she signed her first professional contract, Tounkara continued her career abroad, first in Spain from 2018 with the Atlético Madrid, then in England with Manchester United, a club she joined in the summer of 2022.
