For his second day in Marseille, the Head of State visited a school in the Castellane district on Tuesday morning, one of the nineteen schools whose reconstruction site began as part of the Schools Plan of 1, 5 billion euros launched by the State and the town hall of Marseille. As soon as he arrived, the president enjoyed a walkabout among the children of kindergarten and elementary school. He had to face as often an avalanche of questions.

A great football fan and fan of Olympique de Marseille, Emmanuel Macron was asked by one of the children about Kylian Mbappé: “Sir, Mbappé is he going to come to Marseille?” The President of the Republic replied: “I have already tried, but we will not succeed. He won’t come to play at OM, I’m sorry,” he replied with a smile before adding: “He won’t come to play at OM in my opinion, I don’t want to disappoint you”.
