Cengiz Ünder is about to leave Marseille. The Turkish international (49 caps, 16 goals). OM and Fenerbahçe have reportedly reached an agreement for the transfer of the 26-year-old left-winger. RMC Sport specifies that the compensation is approaching €15 million according to estimates. However, Roma will receive 20% of the total, an amount negotiated with the Italian club when Ünder arrived in Marseille in 2021 with Spanish goalkeeper Pau Lopez.
The player will travel in the next few hours towards his native country to pass his medical examination. Absent from training this Friday, Ünder was not retained in Marcelino’s group to face Reims on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
The Turk will have played 93 games in the Marseille jersey for 18 goals and 12 assists in total.
