After a season in Marseille, Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez is back at Inter Milan, where he has already spent two and a half seasons between 2020 and 2022, the Lombard club announced on Saturday.
Sanchez, 34, has signed a one-year contract, until June 2024, said the finalist of the last Champions League.
During his first stint in the jersey of Inter, the top scorer in the history of the Chilean selection had scored 20 goals in 109 matches in all competitions with the key to a title of Italian champion (2021) and a Italian Cup (2022).

Last season, he scored 18 goals in 44 matches with OM and became one of the favorite players of the Marseille public who hoped to see him stay in L1.
On his Instagram account, Sanchez, who worked for FC Barcelona (2011-14), Arsenal (2014-18) and Manchester United (2018-20), posted a message of farewell and thanks to OM, to his former teammates and supporters, while providing an update.
“I always wanted to stay in Marseille (…) but it didn’t depend on me, it always takes two to agree. This time, the technical direction made other choices, but I respect it,” he wrote.
