Argentinian Angel Di Maria has signed up with Benfica, returning to a club with which he played when he arrived in Europe, the Portuguese club announced on its website on Wednesday.
Aged 35, the striker, who notably worked for Real Madrid and PSG, announced in early June that he was leaving Juventus Turin. Targeted by Saudi Arabia, he preferred to return to Benfica, where he played from 2007 to 2010.
