French winger Isaac Lihadji, 21, has signed a three-season contract at Al-Duhail, Qatar. Former nugget trained at Olympique de Marseille, then transferred to Lille in 2020, Lihadji was free after four months in Sunderland, where he played 6 English D2 matches.

Lihadji honored two selections with the France hopefuls team in 2020, when he was only 18 years old. Appeared 13 times in Ligue 1 during the 2021-22 season, he was sent to the reserve team of LOSC (N3) last September. Al-Duhail is the reigning Qatar champion. There, Lihadji will be coached by former Argentina striker Hernan Crespo. He will find there the former Brest midfielder and international French hopefuls, Ibrahima Diallo, 24 years old.
