If Brighton are keen on their star player, Chelsea are just as keen to recruit him. Unsuccessful, so far. The Blues have once again been turned away by the Seagulls after their latest offer of around €93m for Ecuadorian international Moises Caicedo. Fabrizio Romano, who revealed this offer adds all the same that the negotiations remain open between the two clubs.

The electric battery of the Brighton midfielder was one of the revelations of last season in England. Caicedo also played in the World Cup in Qatar last December. It was after the tournament, in the winter transfer window, that the Blues approached Brighton for a transfer. Two offers, of 63 and 68 million euros had been made. Will Chelsea revise their offer for their 4th attempt? Moises Caicedo is under contract until 2027.
