Brazilian winger Philippe Coutinho (31) is on loan from Aston Villa for one season to Al-Duhail, a club from Doha in Qatar, the English club announced on Friday.
The former Liverpool, FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich player was not in coach Unai Emery’s plans. This season in the Premier League, he has only made two appearances, the last of which was against Everton on August 20, a match in which he left following an injury.
First loaned by Barça in January 2022, Coutinho signed permanently with Aston Villa four months later. He took part in forty-three matches and scored six goals for the Birmingham club.
