If he relaunched on loan at Tottenham, FC Barcelona will not give Clément Lenglet a chance, who still has three years left on his contract. According to the Catalan newspaper Sport, negotiations between the two clubs are going well. Spurs are offering €10m for the 28-year-old French defender, who played 35 matches, including 32 as a starter last season.

Barça were demanding €15m for Lenglet, but the two positions should come closer together. Revealed in Nancy, Lenglet had exploded at Sevilla FC before signing at Barça in 2018 for 36 M€. This transfer had opened the doors to the France team where he has 15 caps and one goal.

Lenglet has never really won at Barça and has not been recalled to the Blues since November 2021. Tottenham remains on a failed season, finished in 8th place in the Premier League. The London club will not play in the European Cup next season. The transfer window can be followed live on our dedicated page.
