AC Milan is the most active Italian club in the 2023 summer transfer window with an eighth recruit unveiled on Friday, American international Yunus Musah.
Musah, 20, has signed a contract until 2028 with the Lombard club, which paid 20 million euros to bring him from Valencia (1st Spanish div.), his club since 2019. Trained at Arsenal, Musah lived in Italy until the age of 10.
The midfielder will find in Milan his compatriot and team-mate in the American selection Christian Pulisic, who arrived in Italy this summer from Chelsea for 20 million euros.
AC Milan, which sold Italian Sandro Tonali to Newcastle for 64 million euros, has paid out 109 million euros in transfer fees so far.
In addition to Musah and Pulisic, the 4th in the 2022-23 Italian Championship, qualified for the next Champions League, has also recruited the English Ruben Loftus-Cheek (16 M EUR / Chelsea), the Nigerian Samuel Chukwueze (20 M EUR /Villarreal) or the Dutchman Tijjani Reijnders (EUR 16m/AZ Alkmaar).
