Goalkeeper Lucas Perri and central defender Adryelson, two Brazilians from the Botafogo club (1st Brazilian division), signed for four and a half years for Lyon, until June 2028, OL announced on Friday.
Perri was transferred for 3.2 million euros and Adryelson for 3.5 million euros. To these sums may be added 50% interest on any future transfer.
Aged 26, Lucas Perri (1.97 m) made his professional debut in 2019 in Sao Paulo. Loaned to Crystal Palace (2019), he then moved to Nautico in 2022, before joining Botafogo the same year.
He started 67 times with the Carioca club and was selected for the first time for the Brazilian team in September.
Adryelson, 25, started professionally at Sport Recife where he played nearly 130 matches over seven seasons. He was loaned for a year to Al Wasl Dubai (United Arab Emirates, 2021-2022) before signing for Botafogo (75 matches, 4 goals) in July 2022. He also has a cape with the Seleçao.
Botafogo is one of three clubs in the Eagle football galaxy of John Textor, the president-owner of OL. Eagle also owns 46% of the shares of the English club Crystal Palace.
