Tottenham’s French international Tanguy Ndombele has been loaned to Galatasaray for a season, the two clubs announced on Monday.
The 26-year-old midfielder’s loan comes with an option to buy 15 million euros, said the Istanbul team, reigning Turkish champions and qualified for the group stage of the Champions League.
Galatasaray also announced on Monday evening that it had recruited Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez, also from Spurs, for five seasons, including one as an option, for 9.5 million euros.
International seven times with the Blues, Tanguy Ndombele left Lyon for Tottenham in 2019, for a record amount of 62 million.
Lacking playing time in London, the Frenchman was loaned to Naples last season. But the 2023 Italian champion did not exercise the option to buy the ex-Lyonnais.
