Spanish striker Borja Iglesias has been loaned to Bayer Leverkusen by Betis Sevilla until the end of the season, the German club announced on Saturday.
Bayer, at the top of the Bundesliga and still undefeated after 19 matches, had been looking for a striker since the injury to Nigerian Victor Boniface, who will not play again until April. Borja Iglesias, 31, has been under contract with Betis since 2019. He has two caps for the Spanish team.
