At the Accor Arena (Bercy)

Yassin Najid will not return to victory this evening. After two years without fighting following his defeat against Ibrahim Mané at Ares 9, the middleweight fighter (-84kg) lost for his first at the PFL against the Italian Daniele Miceli, who won a third consecutive victory.

While he managed to take a guillotine position on the ground, Yassin Najid was countered. Daniele Micelli placed his right hand behind the Frenchman’s neck and maintained pressure against the French fighter’s throat until he passed out.

At 38 years old, the fighter is an old veteran of French MMA – nicknamed like his twin brother “The Scientist”, in reference to their engineering studies – passed through Fernand Lopez’s MMA Factory then by Team Woirin before establishing himself at the Free Fight Academy in the Paris suburbs. He now has 10 victories, including 5 submissions, for 5 defeats.
