At the Accor Arena in Bercy
The French logically bowed to the Portuguese in a fight in catchweight (63.5kg). The Frenchwoman took control of the center of the cage and looked to place a back arm. She touched her opponent’s eyes which caused a pause that broke the rhythm of the first round. In the second round Jacqueline Cavalcanti patiently set up her game and touched much more than Zarah Fairn. Zarah’s lone wrestling attempt ended in a backhand grab by her opponent. A very unspectacular fight that will unfortunately not encourage the UFC to offer a new contract to Zarah Fairn.
It was the last disappointment for Zarah Fairn. His record is now four losses for as many fights in the UFC.
