France team coach Hervé Renard lined up this Tuesday against Norway in the Nations League Julie Dufour and Sandy Baltimore in attack, with French star Kadidiatou Diani starting on the bench.
Diani, star striker of the selection and indisputable starter in normal times, was the best scorer for Les Bleues during the World Cup in Australia but she has fallen short of expectations both with OL and with the French team since the restart.
“We are not going to hide the issue, she must do better,” the coach said on Monday at a press conference about the former Parisian. In his place, Hervé Renard preferred to align PSG striker Sandy Baltimore on the right side. He puts his trust again on the left side in Julie Dufour, the Paris FC player, who showed great things for her first start in Oslo on Friday (2-1), as well as in Eugénie Le Sommer up front. In the middle, Amandine Henry is lined up alongside Grace Geyoro and Sandie Toletti. In defense, Wendie Renard will play in the center alongside Griedge Mbock, once again established.:
