The NBA definitely should have changed its passwords. A former American Basketball League community manager went on the official Facebook account of the championship to denounce his boss Adam Silver as well as the unworthy working conditions he experienced.
“The NBA overworks its community managers to the detriment of their health and their social life for a salary of less than 50,000 dollars per year (about 47,800 euros) after taxes, explains the individual in his message. I worked 14-hour days with no breaks sometimes. Kudos to Adam Silver. We don’t get health insurance until 90 days of work. It’s silly, isn’t it?”
This former employee considers himself “glad to have resigned”, and adds, philosophically: “I will not let a job prevent me from being happy. Donate to causes related to mental health”. The post was later deleted. Neither the NBA nor its boss Adam Silver went back on it.
