Patrick Beverley has done it again. Known for his impulsive side, the American player proved it again during Game 6 of the first round of the NBA playoffs, pitting his Milwaukee Bucks team against the Indiana Pacers. The leader let his frustration burst out at the end of the match.
The Bucks absolutely had to win this game 6 to stay alive in the series (3-2 Indiana). Unfortunately for them, the playoffs ended here, they lost heavily 120-98 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. It was 2 minutes from the end of the match that the scene took place. While the Bucks were trailing by 20 points, Bucks coach Doc Rivers then decided to bring out Patrick Beverley, causing the leader to collapse.
In the images, we see the American player, sitting on the sidelines surrounded by his teammates, turn around for the first time and throw a ball towards Indiana fans. This first balloon hits a woman in the head.
The player then waves his hand as if to get the ball and apologize. Only, once a fan returns the ball to him, he sends it directly and powerfully back to its sender. Although this gesture is difficult to justify, the American leader still tried his luck on social networks.
“Not fair at all. The exchanges between a fan and our club lasted all evening. We warned and asked for help all evening. It’s not fair,” wrote on X (ex-twitter) the leader of the Bucks.
