The Knicks won 119-112 on the Warriors floor Monday in the NBA, sending Stephen Curry and his partners to the fight with the Lakers, easy winners of Atlanta 136-105, for the last qualifying places for the play-offs for access to the playoffs.

Winners on Saturday in Los Angeles (a victory which allowed them to move back to 9th place in the West, ahead of the Lakers), the Warriors did not manage to continue in their room against the Knicks. Carried by Jalen Brunson (34 points), and despite the absence of OG Anunoby, Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson, the New Yorkers won 119-112.

With this 18th home defeat of the season (for 17 victories), Stephen Curry (27 points) and his team fall back to 10th place in the West (35 v. – 32 d).

With 27 points from D’Angelo Russell, 25 from LeBron James and 22 from Anthony Davis, the Lakers easily disposed of the Hawks in their room 136-105, taking advantage of the Warriors’ misstep to get back in front and regain their 9th place in the West (37 v. – 32 d.).

The two Californian teams still have a slight lead over Houston, 11th (32 v. – 35 l.), which did not play on Monday but is on a good dynamic (5 consecutive victories).

Deprived of their interiors Karl Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert, the Wolves relied on Anthony Edwards (32 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists) to win 114-104 in Utah, on the Jazz floor. The Minnesota guard, 2nd in the West (47 v. – 21 l.) behind Oklahoma City, took the opportunity to perform one of the dunks of the year, on the head of John Collins. “I’m not going to lie, it’s the best dunk of my career,” Edwards admitted after the match.

Well ahead of the NBA (54 v. – 14 l.), Boston unsurprisingly easily beat Detroit 119-94, one of the worst teams in the League (12 v. – 56 l.), achieving a 6th consecutive success. Note, beyond the 31 points of Jaylen Brown, who took over from the absent Jayson Tatum, the first triple double of the career of guard Derrick White (22 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists).
