Antoine Dupont, sun and an audience… A successful start to the evening in Toulouse with the passage of the flame this Friday. The French rugby star, who is aiming for gold this summer in Paris, received huge support when he lit the cauldron at the Ernest-Wallon stadium, his usual stomping ground, in front of delighted spectators. The Toulouse native received the flame from the hands of Romain Ntamack, his stadium partner with whom he will play the Champions Cup final against Leinster on May 25 in London.

Throughout the day, the flame traveled the streets of the Toulouse city, followed by thousands of people. It was worn in particular by Vincent Clerc and Maxime Médard, legends of Stade Toulousain. More than 10,000 people were present at Ernest-Wallon for the highlight of the day. Emotions guaranteed.
