The place is quaint to say the least. And quirky. One year before the Paris Olympic Games, the multinational Airbnb, “official partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic torch relay”, announces the availability of “the childhood home of Baron Pierre de Coubertin, founder of the Olympic Games modern”.
“A room at the Château de Mirville has been transformed for an immersive journey into the history of the modern Games,” continues Airbnb. The place, built in the 16th century, will be one of the stages of the journey of the Olympic flame. Airbnb offers “a single night from July 18, 2023” and at a price of 24 euros not including “taxes and fees”. The Paris Olympics are scheduled from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
